Written by Tosin

Promo codes allow you to offer customers discounts on your event tickets. You can create unique codes, set the discount value, limit how many times a code can be used, and specify when it expires.

Creating a Promo Code

To create a promo code:

  1. Log in to your Jetron Ticket account.

  2. Go to Events and select the event you want to manage.

  3. Under Manage Event, select Promo Codes.

  4. Click Create.

  5. Enter the promo code you want customers to use in the Code field.

  6. Select the appropriate discount Type.

  7. Enter the discount amount in the Value field.

  8. Set the maximum number of times the promo code can be used in the Max Uses field.

  9. Set an expiry date in the Expires At field, if applicable.

  10. Review the details and click Create.

Promo Code Details

When creating a promo code, you’ll need to provide the following information:

  • Code: The code customers will enter when purchasing tickets.

  • Type: Determines how the discount is applied.

  • Value: Specifies the amount of the discount.

  • Max Uses: Sets the maximum number of times the promo code can be used.

  • Expires At: Sets the date when the promo code stops being valid.

Setting an Expiry Date

The Expires At field allows you to specify when the promo code should stop working.

If you leave this field blank, the promo code will expire on the day of the event.

Viewing Your Promo Codes

Once a promo code has been created, it will appear in the Promo Codes section.

The promo code list displays:

  • Code

  • Type

  • Value

  • Total Uses

  • Max Uses

  • Expires At

  • Created At

This allows you to keep track of your active promo codes and how many times they have been used.

Tip: Choose a promo code that is easy for customers to remember and communicate. Always review the discount value, usage limit, and expiry date before creating the code.
